Appreciation Pictures
British pharmacist Christopher Viehbacher responded to MFF’s appeal to pay for the medication of a young girl who was severely burned in the Caucasus war. To show his appreciation for their generosity and for saving little Madina’s life, MFF gave one print of “Mother and a Pearl Necklace” to Dr. Viehbacher’s pharmaceutical company, Genzyme, and another to Her Majesty the Queen, Elizabeth II, with the respectful request that the Queen dub Dr. Viehbacher a “Knight of Her Majesty.” After surviving for several months, Madina recently passed over to the angels.
